ZPC Cement is a zinc phosphate cement suitable for the cementation of crowns, bridges, inlays facings and orthodontic brackets.
Composition : Composed of Powder & Liquid
Powder : Zinc Oxide, Magnesium Oxide and Sodium Fluoride.
Liquid :Aqueous solution of Phosphoric acid
Indications :
1.This adhesive can be used for cementation of inlays,onlays,crown & bridge .
2.For cementation of orthodontic bands,Stainless steel Crown
Instructions for Use :
1. Clean the tooth area. Wash thoroughly with water spray and air dry (Do not desiccate).
2. Do shake powder before dispensing .Dispense 2 spoons full of powder and 5- 6 drops of liquid on a cool glass slab
- MIXING : Dispense Powder and Liquid into the Cool Glass Slab
While mixing heat is generated due to exothermic reaction, it is therefore advised to do mixing in fractions. Add powder into liquid in small fractions to get the desired consistency. Recommended fractions of powder into liquid is (1/8 or 1/4). Continue mixing for 45-60 seconds to form a smooth paste. Using the plastic spatula add all the powder to the liquid. Mix rapidly for 45-60 seconds to form a paste.
4. CEMENTATION : 1) Coat the internal surface of the restoration with sufficient cement and seat immediately. The working time is 2 minutes from start of mixing at 23±1°C (73.40±1°F). Higher temperature shorten working time. 2) Maintain Moderate pressure. 3) Start removing excess cement when it feels rubbery.
Storage Conditions :
Store at temperature between 10°C to 24°C. Close the cap carefully after use. Keep away from moisture. Shelf life not affected after opening if stored in a cool dry place.
Shelf life : 3 years from the date of manufacturing.
